Biography

Mehdi Abbasi was a victim of the state crackdown during the November 2019 protests in Iran. He was killed in the city of Karaj during the nationwide demonstrations. He is remembered as one of the many individuals who lost their lives during this period of civil unrest.

مهدی عباسی یکی از جان‌باختگان اعتراضات سراسری آبان ۱۳۹۸ در ایران بود. او در جریان این تجمعات در شهر کرج کشته شد. نام او به عنوان یکی از قربانیان سرکوب‌های آن دوره در حافظه جمعی و سوابق حقوق بشری ثبت شده است.
